Biography

Marelise is an alumni of San Diego State University. Marelise graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in International Business, specializing in Latin American Business Management. After graduating, she utilized her 4 years as a Senior New Accounts Specialist at Bank of America to obtain a position as an Escrow Assistant at Alliance Title Company. During her time in escrow from 2002 through 2008, Marelise was responsible for coordinating all aspects of the closing agent’s daily activities, including drawing and auditing loan documents for bank approval. Communicating directly with various law firms, property management companies, and public agencies regarding liens and/or clouds on title in a very fast paced environment gave her the skills and experience needed to continue her journey to a more comprehensive understanding of the real estate field.

In 2008, Marelise obtained a position as a Transaction Coordinator for Keller Williams Realty Corporate REO Division. In this position, she managed all daily activities for REO Listing Agents in a high pressure and time sensitive environment. Overseeing property maintenance issues, communicating directly with vendors regarding work orders, maintaining records and billing for properties in the pipeline, as well as generating contracts and disclosures while adhering to broker review standards were her main responsibilities.

Understanding that the real estate market was shifting from a high REO inventory to a high short sale inventory, Marelise agreed to begin a short sale processing department in conjunction with Pacific Coast Title Company. The demand for her short sale processing services quickly increased, and in six months grew from one to 4 full time processors in the department. As a Short Sale Department Manager for Pacific Coast Title Company, Marelise expanded her knowledge of employee training, management, as well as marketing skills by developing a marketing plan specific to the department’s quest to increase market share while providing quality service.

In 2013, Marelise obtained her Real Estate License and decided to embark on a new challenge, joining forces with Luis in order to expand Kinetic Real Estate. As a full service real estate brokerage, Marelise has the opportunity to fully utilize the skills she obtained in her previous 12 years in the real estate field.

Marelise is also the Financial Controller of Kinetic Real Estate, applying her back office skills to expand Kinetic Real Estate and continue to find new and innovative ways to assist clients in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate and property management.

Currently, Marelise is a fully licensed Real Estate Agent, primarily focused on Residential Real Estate. She is available to assist with purchasing, listing, or leasing residential real estate.
